New Forest Tartan was designed in 2017 by local Kate Collison. It is registered on the official Tartan Register and was designed in the New Forest, for the New Forest, in the beautiful colours of the New Forest - the greens of oak and holly, the silvery grey of silver birch, purple heather and russet red for deer and ferns.

 

The attractive and quirky logo says Ytene (the ancient name for the New Forest) in Anglo Saxon runes. With products ranging from clothing, gifts and home furnishings to jewellery, each creation is of the highest quality and made by talented craftspeople in the UK to the highest sustainability standards. You are invited to show your love and connection to the New Forest by owning and sharing some New Forest Tartan.
